Samsung Galaxy Ring and everything you can do with it
As a smart device, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is expected to offer similar features to a smartwatch, although it will be more specialized in health and sleep monitoring than in recording sports activities (which it will surely be able to do as well, however).
The Galaxy Ring includes yet-to-be-determined health monitoring sensors, including an ECG sensor for electrocardiograms and, according to leaks, another to measure "blood flow." It also features a biometric sensor to measure pulse and blood oxygen levels.
All these sensors combined will allow us to monitor our sleep, current state of health, and could even enable more advanced monitoring such as blood pressure and atrial fibrillation detection. Some of these features will require approval from medical authorities to be activated, as has already been the case with the Galaxy Watch.
