Natural Balance Foods, manufacturer of the popular Nakd whole food brand, carried out a street marketing campaign that made everyone who passed by salivate.
It was a large billboard, located in the heart of London's Shepherds Bush Westfield shopping center, featuring their products to encourage consumers to discover all the flavors available in the range for free.
The campaign was created by the advertising agency Total Media to promote the brand and invite passersby to find their favorite product.
Fiona Martins, account manager at Total Media, said: "We wanted to create a memorable and impactful campaign that would capture the attention of an audience looking for a healthy and inexpensive snack."
For this reason, the billboard, measuring 5×2 meters, was restocked every day until the end of the campaign.
The marketing campaign was complemented by advertising in digital and print media, social networks, and television, representing an investment of £300,000.

What is street marketing?
Street marketing is the use of the city or town itself to promote a company. This includes both the total transformation of an urban element and standing in the street to hand out advertising material. At first glance, handing out flyers or brochures is a form of advertising that fits into this category, but, as we will see later, it goes much further than that.
Therefore, it is clear that if the action takes place on public roads, it can fall into this category. Over the years, this has led to constant reinvention. As long as the necessary permits are obtained, anything goes, and companies are becoming increasingly imaginative.
This often causes advertising to go viral on social media, meaning that a simple local action can end up becoming a global phenomenon.

McDonald's
McDonald's is another brand that doesn't let certain opportunities pass it by. In this case, you can see how an urban element of a construction site has been converted into a giant coffee shop. This practice is common for this company, especially in the United States.
Sprite and its showers on the beach
One of Sprite's advertising claims is that it helps you cool off in summer. What better way to represent this than by setting up showers on the beach? A very noticeable action that certainly did not go unnoticed by sea lovers.

Street marketing with promotional gifts?
As you read at the beginning, this discipline does not consist solely of making major transformations that require complicated logistics. Any action carried out on the street can be useful, and promotional merchandising is perfect for this, as it provides excellent visibility and does not require a large investment.
Customized backpacks, bags, takeaway cups... any item that can be easily carried on everyday journeys can fit perfectly into a street marketing strategy.
Here is the first example. It is the campaign for Burn, a brand of weight loss products that has designed these backpacks, which are very appropriate for their type of business. Notice how when the backpack is closed, it gives the impression of a much more toned body.
