Meta's platform announced significant updates to its advertising tools, including new generative artificial intelligence (AI) features designed to help businesses create more impactful and effective ads.
These efforts are in addition to those made by Zuckerberg's company with the aim of offering comprehensive solutions and thus driving the growth of various businesses through its platforms.
Image generation
The incorporation of full image generation capabilities based on original advertising creativity is one of the most important advances. Through these, companies can create variations of their ads, including custom backgrounds, text overlays, and adjustments to specific elements, such as a coffee cup in an image of coffee beans.
In addition to this, the company announced that it has improved its text generation feature: it is now capable of creating variations for the headline and body copy of the ad, taking into account the brand's voice and tone, as well as key selling points.
These improvements are based on feedback from advertisers seeking greater diversity and relevance in text suggestions.

Artificial Intelligence Goal
Generative Artificial Intelligence in Advantage+ Creative
To facilitate access to and use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools, Meta has centralized them in Advantage+ Creative, a platform within Ads Manager.
This allows companies to leverage the benefits of automation and generative artificial intelligence throughout the entire advertising campaign creation process, optimizing efficiency and performance.
Meta Verified for businesses
Meta Verified, the subscription program for businesses, is expanding to new countries, including Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, France, and Italy. It will also be available on WhatsApp soon.
This initiative seeks to strengthen companies' credibility with customers by offering tools that combat identity theft, improve connections with consumers, and protect accounts.

New generative artificial intelligence features, the expansion of Meta Verified, and improvements to Advantage+ products aim to provide companies using these platforms with innovative tools and comprehensive solutions.
The company notes that Meta seeks to help businesses create more impactful ads, connect more effectively with their customers, and achieve their business goals.
Meta's revolutionary Artificial Intelligence method that can complete images
Meta published an example of how its artificial intelligence was able to complete images of various animals and a landscape. The model was able to semantically recognize which parts were missing thanks to the context: the dog's head or the bird's leg, for example.
Human and non-human animals seem capable of learning enormous amounts of prior knowledge about how the world works through observation and through an incomprehensibly small amount of interactions independently of the task and without supervision," LeCun explained in a February 2022 publication.
It is worth hypothesizing, I said at the time, that this accumulated knowledge may "form the basis of what is commonly called common sense."
This common sense is what would guide Artificial Intelligence models to know what is probable, what is possible, and what is impossible. That is why, says Meta, I-JEPA would not make mistakes that are common in images generated by other AIs, such as hands with more than five fingers.
Artificial Intelligence systems based on labeled datasets (such as ChatGPT) tend to be very good at specific tasks for which they were trained. But it is impossible to label everything in the world, Meta explained in another report on its 2021 research.
There are also some tasks for which there is simply not enough labeled data. If AI systems can gain a deeper understanding of reality beyond their training, they will become more useful and ultimately bring AI closer to human-level intelligence.
Achieving common sense would be like reaching the dark matter of Artificial Intelligence, Meta explained in 2021. The company believes that this type of Artificial Intelligence can learn much faster, plan how to perform complex tasks, and easily adapt to unfamiliar situations.
