SYNOPSIS

Five hundred years ago, Cortés and his men landed in Yucatán, an event that, as writer Carlos Fuentes would say, marked the birth of the Mexican nation, with all the good and bad that this entailed.

The encounter between the people of Castile and those of Tlaxcala marked the alliance of two cultures and the beginning of a new culture, a new country, and the first agreement between Europeans and Americans.

We found it interesting to approach this historical event in this way, with the aim of reconciling the past with the future and understanding the cultural legacy inherited from the different peoples, indigenous and non-indigenous, who passed through these lands over the centuries, now known as Mexico.
